Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean solar panel ensures efficient charging.
  • Placement: Periodically check that the solar panel remains unobstructed by leaves, snow, or other objects that could block sunlight.
  • Battery: The integrated lithium-ion battery is designed for long-lasting performance. No user maintenance is required for the battery.
  • Weather Resistance: The IP65 rating ensures protection against water jets and dust. However, avoid submerging the unit in water.

Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on at night:
    • Ensure the solar panel is receiving at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
    • Verify the power button has been pressed to select a lighting mode.
    • Check for any obstructions blocking the solar panel.
    • During prolonged overcast or rainy weather, charging efficiency may be reduced, leading to shorter illumination times or no illumination. Allow for several sunny days to fully recharge.
  • Light is dim or flickers:
    • The battery may not be fully charged. Ensure adequate direct sunlight exposure.
    • Clean the solar panel surface.
    • If the issue persists after several days of full charge, contact customer support.
  • Light turns off too quickly:
    • This indicates insufficient battery charge. Ensure the solar panel is in an optimal position for maximum sunlight exposure.
    • The selected lighting mode affects duration; High Light Mode has a shorter maximum duration than Low Light Mode.
