5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator LED will show the charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.

5.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator turns off.

6. Operating

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 1 meter of your Bluetooth device.
2. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on for the first time, or if no device is connected. The Bluetooth LED indicator will flash rapidly. If not, short press the Bluetooth button (Ⓑ) to enter pairing mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
4. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Silvercrest Sound Mini" from the list.
5. Once paired, the Bluetooth LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
6. You can now play audio through the speaker.

6.2 AUX Mode

To use the speaker with a non-Bluetooth device:

1. Connect one end of the supplied 3.5 mm AUX cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.
3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
4. Control playback and volume from your connected device.

6.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

The TWS function allows you to pair two Silvercrest Sound Mini speakers together for a true stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth button (Ⓑ) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a specific TWS pairing prompt.
3. The primary speaker will automatically search for the second speaker.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth LED on both speakers will indicate a successful TWS connection (e.g., one solid, one flashing, or both solid).
5. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in section 6.1. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

7. Charging

When the battery is low, the speaker will indicate this with an audible prompt or a flashing LED. To charge:

1. Open the protective flap covering the charging port on the side of the speaker.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
4. The charging LED indicator will illuminate during charging. It will turn off or change color when charging is complete.
5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and ensure the protective flap is securely closed to maintain the speaker's waterproof rating.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

8.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain its lifespan.

• After exposure to water, wipe the speaker dry with a soft cloth. Do not charge the speaker if the ports are wet.
