4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your LaView Indoor Security Camera:

4.1. Powering On

  1. Unpack the camera and its power adapter.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input port.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and indicate readiness for setup (e.g., an LED indicator).

4.2. App Download and Account Creation

  1. Download the LaView app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Open the app and create a new account, or log in if you already have one.

4.3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

The LaView camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks for flexible and stable connectivity.

  1. In the LaView app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
  2. Select your camera model from the list.

  4. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to connect the camera to during the setup process.

4.4. Mounting the Camera

7. Troubleshooting

  • Adjust motion detection sensitivity.
  • Verify the camera has a stable internet connection.
Two-way audio not working
  • Ensure your phone's microphone is enabled for the LaView app.
  • Check the volume settings on your phone and within the app.
  • Verify the camera's microphone and speaker are not obstructed.
MicroSD card not recognized
  • Ensure the microSD card is inserted correctly.
  • Format the microSD card using the option in the LaView app.
  • Verify the microSD card is not damaged and is within the supported capacity (up to 128GB).
