Setup Guide

1. Mounting the Device

Choose between the 360-degree rotatable suction cup mount for windshields or the self-adhesive bracket for dashboards. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion. Attach the chosen mount securely to the device and then to your desired location in the vehicle.

2. Power Connection

Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the USB-C end of the power cable to the corresponding port on the APHQUA unit. The unit will power on automatically.

3. Wireless Carplay / Android Auto Connection

1. Open Apple Carplay or Android Auto on your smartphone.
2. On your smartphone, turn off both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in your phone settings temporarily.
3. Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone and select "APHQUA_BT-xxx" to pair.
4. Confirm pairing and allow access when prompted.
5. Once connected, your smartphone will automatically link to the carplay screen.

4. Backup Camera Installation (Optional)

For backup camera functionality, connect the provided 1080P waterproof backup camera to the AV IN port on the main unit. The camera typically mounts above your car's license plate. For automatic display when reversing, connect the camera's power wires to your vehicle's reverse lights. Professional installation is recommended for this step.

Basic Operation

The 9.3-inch touch screen is responsive and intuitive. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping and swiping. The main interface provides quick access to phone, music, maps, and messages.

Dash Cam Operation

The integrated 2.5K dash cam automatically begins loop recording when the device is powered on. Video files are saved to the included 64G TF card. To save a specific recording, locate the lock button on the device or screen interface. The dash cam can be rotated 180 degrees for optimal viewing angle.

Audio Output Modes

• Bluetooth: Connect your smartphone's Bluetooth to the carplay screen, then pair the carplay screen's Bluetooth to your car's stereo for high-quality audio.
