2.4 Gas Connection (Gas MIG/Lift TIG):
- Connect the provided tubing to the gas inlet on the rear of the welder.
- Connect the other end of the tubing to your gas cylinder regulator.
- Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
2.5 Connecting Welding Cables:
- MIG Torch: Connect the MIG torch to the designated connector on the front panel.
- Earth Clamp: Connect the earth clamp cable to the appropriate terminal (polarity depends on welding mode).
- Stick/MMA: For Stick welding, connect the electrode holder and earth clamp to the correct terminals based on electrode polarity requirements.
- Lift TIG: For Lift TIG, connect the TIG torch (not included) and earth clamp to the correct terminals.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Control Panel Overview:
The MIG200T features a large segment digital display and intuitive controls for easy operation.

Figure 4: Detailed view of the RILAND MIG200T control panel with synergic settings.
3.2 Selecting Welding Mode:
The MIG200T offers 6 welding functions:
- Gas MIG (GMAW): For welding with shielding gas.
- Gasless Flux Core MIG (FCAW): For welding without external shielding gas, using flux-cored wire.
- Stick/MMA: For welding with coated electrodes.
- Spot Welding: For precise spot welds.
- Lift TIG (GTAW): For TIG welding with a lift arc start (TIG torch not included).
- Spool Gun: For aluminum welding (spool gun not included).
Use the mode selection buttons on the control panel to choose the desired welding process.

3.3 Synergic Control:
The RICHIP intelligent synergic control automatically adjusts welding parameters based on material thickness and selected wire diameter. This simplifies setup and optimizes weld quality.
- Select your welding mode and wire diameter.
- The machine will suggest optimal voltage and wire feed speed.
- Fine-tune parameters using the adjustment knobs if necessary.
3.4 2T/4T Trigger Modes:
The MIG200T supports 2T (two-touch) and 4T (four-touch) trigger modes, particularly useful for spot welding and longer welds to reduce operator fatigue.

3.5 Welding Different Materials:
The MIG200T is capable of welding a variety of materials:
- MMA & Lift TIG: Suitable for 1/16" to 1/8" electrodes (E6013 & E7018) for carbon steel plate over 1.5mm. Lift TIG mode handles carbon steel and 1-4mm stainless steel plate.
- Gas/Gasless MIG: Adapts to 0.030"/0.040" carbon steel wire (MIG mode) and 0.030"/0.040" flux cored wire (FLUX mode). Carbon steel plate over 1.5mm can be welded in both modes.
- Aluminum Welding: Requires an optional spool gun and 0.040" aluminum wire.
