Setup
1. Handle Grip Installation
- Take the handbrake grip out of the packaging.
- Align the grip with the threaded rod on the handbrake unit.
- Rotate and tighten the grip onto the rod until it is secure.
2. Mounting the Handbrake
The PXN HB S Handbrake can be mounted using the included securing clamp or by bolting it directly to a sim rig.
- Using the Securing Clamp: Attach the clamp to the base of the handbrake. Secure the handbrake to a desk or table (up to 7 cm thick) by tightening the clamp screws.
- Direct Bolting: The handbrake base features threaded screw holes for direct mounting to compatible sim racing cockpits or stands.

3. PC Connection
The PXN HB S Handbrake is designed for plug-and-play functionality on PC Windows systems.
- Connect the provided USB-B cable to the port on the handbrake unit.
- Plug the other end of the USB-B cable into an available USB port on your PC.
- The system should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.

Operating the Handbrake
1. Angle Adjustment
The handbrake's angle can be adjusted to suit your preference, allowing for both 90-degree (vertical) and 180-degree (horizontal) orientations.
- Using the hexagonal wrench from the toolkit, unscrew the bolts on the connecting rod.
- Adjust the rod to the desired angle (90 or 180 degrees).
- Tighten the screws securely to fix the angle.

2. Force Adjustment
The handbrake's force can be customized by replacing the internal spring or damping rubber.
- Unscrew the side bolt kits and the top cover of the handbrake unit using the M5 wrench.
- Carefully remove the existing spring/damping kit.
- Insert the desired replacement spring or damping rubber from the included kit.
- Re-tighten the screws and replace the top cover.

3. Stroke Adjustment
The handbrake's travel stroke can be adjusted from 16mm to 10mm by modifying the limit plate.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the Phillips screws on the limit plate.
- Flip the limit plate to its alternative position.
- Secure the limit plate by re-tightening the screws. This will reduce the stroke to 10mm.
4. Compatibility
The PXN HB S Handbrake is compatible with various sim racing steering wheels on PC Windows, including:
- PXN V3, V900, V9, V10, V12
- Logitech G27, G29, G920, G923
- Thrustmaster T500, T300
It is compatible with popular racing games such as Assetto Corsa, Forza Horizon, Need for Speed, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and Dirt Rally 2.0.

Maintenance
- Regularly clean the exterior of the handbrake with a soft, dry cloth.

Troubleshooting
1. Handbrake Not Detected by PC
- Ensure the USB-B cable is securely connected to both the handbrake and the PC.
- Try connecting the handbrake to a different USB port on your PC.
- Restart your PC.
- Verify that your operating system is PC Windows, as the device is not compatible with consoles.
2. Inconsistent Force or Stroke
- Check if the internal spring and damping rubber are correctly installed and not damaged.
- Ensure all screws related to force and stroke adjustment are tightened.
- If you have adjusted the stroke, confirm the limit plate is correctly positioned and secured.
3. Physical Instability
- If using the clamp, ensure it is fully tightened to the desk/table.
- If bolted, check that all mounting bolts are secure.
