5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

1. Insert the supplied rechargeable battery (NP-FZ100) into the battery charger.
2. Connect the battery charger to a power outlet using the supplied power cord.

5.2. Inserting a Memory Card

1. Open the memory card cover.
2. Insert a CFexpress Type A card or an SD (UHS-II/UHS-I) card into the card slot with the terminal facing the correct direction until it clicks into place. The camera supports two memory slots.
3. Close the memory card cover.

1. Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the lens.
