4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

The monocular is equipped with a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

1. Locate the charging port on the device.
2. Connect the provided charging cable to the monocular's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank, or car charger).
4. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.

4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) is required to save photos and videos.

1. Locate the TF card slot on the monocular.
2. Carefully insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
3. To remove, gently press the card until it springs out.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the ON/OFF button until the display illuminates.
• To power off, press and hold the ON/OFF button until the display turns off.
• The device features an automatic shutdown function to conserve battery if no operation is detected for a period.

5.2 Focusing

Adjust the focus for a clear view of your target.

• While looking through the eyepiece, rotate the Focus Wheel (located near the objective lens) until the image on the display is sharp.

5.3 Zoom Function

The monocular offers 6x optical magnification and up to 8x digital zoom.

• Use the Zoom + button to increase digital magnification.
• Use the Zoom - button to decrease digital magnification.

5.4 Night Vision and Infrared Illumination

For clear viewing in low light or complete darkness, activate the infrared illuminator.

• Press the IR Light button to cycle through infrared illumination levels (e.g., Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Off).
• Higher IR levels provide greater visibility in darker conditions but may consume more battery.

5.5 Taking Photos and Recording Videos

The monocular supports real-time photography and video recording (without sound recording).

1. Press the Menu/Mode button to switch between photo and video modes. The current mode will be indicated on the display.
2. In photo mode, press the OK button to take a picture.
3. In video mode, press the OK button to start recording. Press it again to stop recording.
4. Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted to save your media.

5.6 Playback and Data Transfer

View your captured media directly on the device or transfer it to a computer.

• Use the Menu/Mode button to enter playback mode.
• Navigate through your photos and videos using the zoom buttons or other directional controls (if available).
• To transfer files, connect the monocular to a computer using the provided USB cable. The device should appear as a removable storage device. Alternatively, remove the Micro SD card and use the included card reader to access files on your computer.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the objective lens and display screen.
• For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics.
• Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the lens coatings or device surface.
• Keep the device free from dust and debris.

6.2 Storage

• When not in use, store the monocular in the provided storage bag to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
