3. Setup and Assembly

The NOMAJO sofa requires assembly. It is recommended that two adults perform the assembly. Ensure you have adequate space and all parts before beginning.

3.1 Unpacking

• Carefully remove all packaging materials. Do not use sharp objects that could damage the upholstery.
• Verify all components are present against the packing list (not provided in this manual, refer to product packaging).
• Place components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

3.2 Assembly Steps

1. Attach the sofa feet (if not pre-attached) to the designated points on the base of the sofa. Ensure they are securely tightened.
2. Connect the backrest sections to the base frame. Align the metal brackets and slide the backrests down until they lock into place. You may hear a click.
3. Connect any electrical cables for the reclining mechanism and USB port. Ensure all connections are firm and secure.
4. Carefully move the assembled sofa to its desired location. Ensure there is sufficient clearance behind the sofa for the reclining function (approximately 70 cm from the wall for full recline).
5. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Electric Recline Function

The NOMAJO sofa features an electric reclining mechanism for personalized comfort. Each reclining seat is operated independently.

• Locate the control buttons, typically on the side of the armrest.
• Press and hold the "Recline" button to extend the footrest and recline the backrest. Release the button when the desired position is reached.
• Press and hold the "Return" button to retract the footrest and bring the backrest to its upright position.
• The maximum recline angle is 135 degrees.

4.2 USB Charging Port

A USB charging port is integrated into the sofa for convenient device charging.

• Locate the USB port, usually near the recline control buttons.
• Plug your device's USB charging cable into the port.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Leather Care

• Regularly dust the leather with a soft, dry cloth.
• For spills, immediately blot with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub.
• For general cleaning, use a damp cloth with a mild, pH-neutral soap solution specifically designed for leather. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, as these can cause the leather to fade or crack.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or saddle soap.
• Consider applying a leather conditioner every 6-12 months to keep the leather supple.

5.2 Mechanism Care
