4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Smart Watch

Before first use, fully charge your smart watch. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging points on the back of the watch and plug the USB end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The watch display will indicate charging status.

4.2 Downloading the Companion App

To unlock all features and synchronize data, download the official Volkano Fit Life companion app from your smartphone's app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android). Search for "Volkano Fit Life" or scan the QR code provided in the watch's quick start guide (if applicable).

4.3 Pairing with Your Smartphone

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
2. Open the Volkano Fit Life app on your smartphone.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app will search for your smart watch.
4. Select "VK-5082-GD" or the corresponding device name when it appears in the app.
5. Confirm the pairing request on both your watch and smartphone if prompted.
6. Once paired, the watch will synchronize time and data with your phone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Navigating the Interface

• Touch Screen: Swipe left/right, up/down to navigate through menus and features. Tap to select.
• Side Button: Press to wake the screen, return to the home screen, or access the main menu.
• Customizable Watch Faces: Change watch faces via the companion app or directly on the watch by long-pressing the home screen.

5.2 Health Monitoring

• Heart Rate: Navigate to the heart rate section on the watch. Ensure the watch is snug on your wrist for accurate readings.
• Blood Pressure: Access the blood pressure function. Remain still during measurement.
• Sleep Tracking: Wear the watch to bed. Sleep data will automatically be recorded and synced to the app upon waking.

5.3 Activity Tracking

• Pedometer: The watch automatically tracks your steps, distance, and calories burned throughout the day. View daily summaries on the watch or detailed reports in the app.

5.4 Notifications and Calls

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the watch and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Resistance: The watch is IP68 water and dust resistant. This means it can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. It is suitable for showering and shallow-water activities but not for diving or high-pressure water activities. Do not press buttons underwater.
• Charging: Always ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging to prevent corrosion.
• Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

The Volkano Fit Life Series Smart Watch is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use.

You can extend your coverage. Register your product to receive an additional 12-Month extension, for a total of 24 Months coverage by Volkano. Please refer to the official Volkano website or product registration card for details on how to register your product.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear.
