3. Setup and Installation

1. Search for "Aiwit" in the App Store or Google Play Store.

3. Open the Aiwit app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.

3.3 Connecting the Doorbell to Wi-Fi

Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G WiFi, as 5GHz WiFi is not supported.

1. In the Aiwit app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
2. Select "Video Doorbell" from the device list.
3. Follow the app's instructions to put the doorbell into pairing mode (usually by pressing and holding a button on the doorbell).
4. Enter your 2.4G Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted by the app.
5. The app will generate a QR code. Present this QR code to the doorbell camera lens at a distance of 15-30 cm (6-12 inches) until you hear a confirmation sound.
6. Once connected, the doorbell's indicator light will change, and the app will confirm successful pairing.

3.4 Mounting the Doorbell

The doorbell is designed for wire-free installation.

4. Operating Instructions

When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the doorbell camera will record and send a "device call" push notification to your phone instantly. The indoor chime will also sound.
