This device offers precise timekeeping, a large date display, and useful environmental information such as temperature and humidity. It also includes a unique Rokuyo display and an anniversary setting function. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your clock to ensure optimal performance.

2. Product Overview

The ADESSO THM-01 is a versatile digital clock designed for both desk and wall mounting. Its natural bamboo frame provides a warm aesthetic suitable for various interiors.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the product. Please use new AA alkaline batteries for best performance.

3.2 Initial Power-On and Radio Wave Reception

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive radio waves to synchronize the time. This process may take several minutes.

• Place the clock near a window or in an open area for better reception.
• Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference.
• A signal icon on the display will indicate the reception status. A solid icon means successful reception.

3.3 Placement

The THM-01 clock can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall.

• Desk Placement: Use the integrated stand on the back of the clock to position it upright on a desk, shelf, or table.
• Wall Mounting: Use a suitable screw or hook (not included) in the desired wall location. Hang the clock using the keyhole slot on the back. Ensure it is securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions

The clock features several buttons on the back for various settings and adjustments. Refer to the labels next to each button for specific functions.

4.1 Manual Time and Date Setting

If automatic radio wave reception is unsuccessful or you need to adjust the time manually:

1. Press and hold the SET button until the time display starts flashing.
2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour, then press SET to confirm.
3. Repeat for minutes, year, month, and day.
4. Press SET again to exit manual setting mode.

4.2 Alarm Setting

1. Press the ALARM button once to display the current alarm time.
2. Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm time starts flashing.
3. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the desired alarm hour and minute.
4. Press ALARM to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

4.3 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (usually located on the top or front of the clock) to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).

4.4 Anniversary Setting

This feature allows you to set a specific date to be highlighted or displayed as an anniversary.

1. Press the ANNIVERSARY button (or a similar labeled button) to enter anniversary setting mode.
2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired month and day for the anniversary.
3. Press the ANNIVERSARY button again to confirm and save the setting.

4.5 Display Modes

The clock automatically displays temperature, humidity, Rokuyo, and the day of the week count. No manual adjustment is typically needed for these readings once the time and date are set.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries.

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Remove the old AA batteries.
3. Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment cover. The clock will re-initiate radio wave reception.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean the clock, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the display or the bamboo finish.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Display or Dim Display

• Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
• Replace old batteries with new ones.

6.2 Incorrect Time or Date

• Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good radio signal reception.
• Perform a manual radio wave reception attempt (refer to the clock's specific button for this, often labeled WAVE or RC).
• If radio reception consistently fails, set the time and date manually as described in Section 4.1.

6.3 Alarm Not Sounding

• Verify that the alarm is activated (an alarm icon should be visible on the display).
• Check if the alarm time is set correctly.
