Maintenance

Cleaning the Keyboard

For thorough cleaning, the keycaps can be removed. Gently pry them off using a keycap puller (not included) or a small, flat tool. Clean the keycaps and the keyboard base with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth. Ensure all components are completely dry before reattaching the keycaps and resuming use.

Battery Replacement

When the keyboard or mouse stops responding or experiences intermittent connectivity, it may be time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section to replace the AAA battery in the keyboard and the AA battery in the mouse.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Keyboard/Mouse not responding
  • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify the USB Nano receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
  • Move the keyboard/mouse closer to the USB receiver to rule out range issues.
  • Re-pair the devices by unplugging and re-plugging the USB receiver.
Intermittent connection
  • Check battery levels.
  • Ensure no large metal objects are between the devices and the receiver that could interfere with the 2.4GHz signal.
  • Avoid using the devices near other strong wireless signals (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless peripherals).
Keyboard/Mouse enters sleep mode too quickly

This is a normal power-saving feature. Simply click a mouse button or press any keyboard key to wake the device.

Not compatible with Type C ports

This combo uses a standard USB-A receiver. For devices with only Type C ports (e.g., some MacBook Pro models), a USB-A to Type C adapter is required (not included).
