2. Package Contents
Your AECOJOY Outdoor Storage Shed is shipped in two main packages. Before beginning assembly, carefully unpack all components and verify that all parts are present and undamaged. Refer to the included parts list in your instruction manual for a complete inventory.
Important: All metal panels are covered with a protective film. This film should be peeled off before assembly to ensure proper fit and appearance. Failure to remove the film prior to assembly may result in difficulty during the process.
3. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your AECOJOY Outdoor Storage Shed. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly.
3.1. Frame Assembly
Begin by assembling the base frame of the shed. Use the provided connector pieces to join the frame components. Secure all connections by screwing them into place. Ensure the frame is square and level before proceeding.

3.2. Foundation Preparation (Optional but Recommended)
The shed's base is open. To prevent vegetation growth inside and provide a stable floor, it is recommended to lay a foundation such as concrete pavers or a gravel bed within the assembled frame. This also helps to keep the interior dry.
3.3. Side Wall Assembly
Once the base frame is secure, assemble the vertical and horizontal beams for the side walls. Screw these beams into their designated slots. Then, attach the metal side wall panels to the assembled frame. Overlap the ends of the panels as indicated in the instructions and secure them with screws until all walls are built.

3.4. Roof Installation
Install the roof panels by screwing each piece into place. Ensure proper overlap between panels to create a watertight seal. Continue this process until the entire roof is fully assembled and secured.
3.5. Corner Bar Installation
Screw down the corner bars around the perimeter of the shed. These bars provide additional structural integrity and give the shed a seamless appearance.
3.6. Door Assembly and Installation
Assemble the doors by screwing the side components to the middle panel. Install the support beams and locking mechanisms onto each door. Once assembled, screw the door hinges into the designated points on the shed walls. The shed features one smaller side door and two main barn doors for versatile access.

4. Operating and Features
The AECOJOY Outdoor Storage Shed provides a functional and secure space for your outdoor storage needs.
- Internal Shelving: The shed includes internal racks and shelves designed for organized storage of tools and smaller items. These shelves can be installed by screwing down mounting beams and then sliding the shelves into place, locking them securely.
- Spacious Interior: Despite its compact footprint, the shed offers ample space for various items, including larger equipment like wheelbarrows or bicycles.
- Dual Door Access: The double barn doors provide a wide opening for easy entry and exit of bulky items, while the smaller side door offers convenient access for frequently used tools.
- Magnetic Walls: The metal construction of the shed walls allows for the use of magnetic accessories, such as magnetic lights or tool holders, enhancing organization and utility.
- Water Resistant: The shed is designed to be water resistant, providing protection for your stored items from the elements.
5. Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AECOJOY Outdoor Storage Shed, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior and interior of the shed with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the metal finish.
- Rust Prevention: The shed features an automotive-grade anti-rust process. However, inspect for any signs of rust, especially in areas where the finish might be scratched or damaged. Touch up any affected areas with rust-inhibiting paint as needed.
- Door and Hinge Inspection: Regularly check the door hinges and locking mechanisms for smooth operation. Lubricate if necessary.
- Anchoring: Periodically verify that the shed remains securely anchored to the ground, especially after strong winds or storms.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during assembly or use, consider the following common solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Difficulty aligning holes during assembly. | Ensure all protective films are removed from panels. Double-check that frame components are correctly oriented and not overtightened until all parts are loosely fitted. |
| Shed feels unstable or wobbly. | Verify that the base frame is perfectly level. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. Consider adding a solid foundation (e.g., concrete pavers) and anchoring the shed to the ground. |
| Doors do not close or latch properly. | Check door alignment and hinge installation. Ensure the shed is on a level surface, as uneven ground can cause frame distortion affecting door operation. Adjust latches if necessary. |
| Water leakage or moisture inside. | Inspect roof panel overlaps and screw points for proper sealing. Apply silicone sealant to any gaps or unsealed screw heads. Ensure the foundation provides adequate drainage. |
| Panels appear dented or scratched. | The shed's metal panels are thin and can be susceptible to dents if mishandled during assembly or transport. Handle with care. Minor scratches can be touched up with appropriate metal paint. |
