3. Setup and Powering Your Radio

Your Greadio Emergency Weather Radio offers two primary methods for power supply:
- AC Power: For continuous indoor use, connect the provided power cord to the AC input port on the radio and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use or during power outages, the radio can be powered by 4 D-Cell batteries (not included).
3.2 Installing D-Cell Batteries
To install batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 D-Cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operating Your Radio
4.1 Turning On/Off and Volume Control
- To turn the radio on, rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise. The LCD display will illuminate.
- To adjust the volume, continue rotating the VOLUME knob.
- To turn the radio off, rotate the VOLUME knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
