4.1 Cleaning the Remote

To clean your remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or immerse the remote in water.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's responsiveness decreases or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your remote control, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
    • Replace the batteries with fresh ones.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared receiver.
    • Make sure you are pointing the remote directly at the TV.
  • Specific buttons not working:
    • This remote is pre-programmed and does not require pairing. If a button is not working, ensure the remote is compatible with your specific Roku TV model (refer to the compatibility list in Section 1).
    • Clean the remote's surface, especially around the non-working button, to ensure no debris is interfering.
  • Remote works intermittently:
    • Batteries may be low. Replace them.
    • Ensure consistent line of sight to the TV.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact customer support.
