Figure 3.1: A detailed view of the drill's 13mm keyless chuck and the adjustable torque setting ring, indicating various settings from 1 to 21, plus drill and hammer modes.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the drill for safety.
- Grip the rear collar of the chuck with one hand and rotate the front collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
- Insert the drill bit or accessory into the chuck, ensuring it is centered.
- Rotate the front collar clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws firmly around the bit. Hand-tighten only; do not use tools to tighten the chuck.
- To Remove: Reverse the process by rotating the front collar counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull out the bit.
4. Operating Instructions
Always ensure the battery is fully charged before beginning work.

4.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
- The drill is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger switch.
- The speed of the drill is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. Pressing lightly results in lower speed, while pressing fully results in maximum speed.
- Release the trigger to turn off the drill.
4.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation

Figure 4.2: A close-up view of the drill's forward/reverse selector switch, positioned above the trigger for easy access and directional control.
- The forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger.
- Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws in).
- Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws).
- When the switch is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental startup.
4.3 Gearbox Speed Selection
- The 2-speed gearbox selector switch is located on top of the drill.
- Position 1 (Low Speed): For high torque applications, such as driving large screws or drilling large holes.
- Position 2 (High Speed): For faster drilling in softer materials or smaller holes.
- Always ensure the drill is stopped before changing gear speeds.
4.4 Torque and Mode Selection
- The torque adjustment ring is located behind the chuck.
- Rotate the ring to select the desired torque setting (1-21) for driving screws. Lower numbers are for smaller screws and softer materials, higher numbers for larger screws and harder materials.
- For drilling into wood or metal, select the drill symbol (drill mode).
- For drilling into masonry or concrete, select the hammer drill symbol (hammer drill mode).
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the ventilation openings on the drill to prevent overheating.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the tool's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the chuck jaws clean and free of debris for optimal bit gripping.
5.2 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Charge them periodically if not in use.
- Do not expose batteries to water or moisture.
5.3 Storage
- Store the drill, battery, and charger in the provided carrying case in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the drill before storage.
6. Troubleshooting
