3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the timer using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the USB-C input port on the side of the device and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included). The battery icon on the display will indicate charging status.

3.2 Power On/Off
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the timer. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the device. Slide it to 'OFF' to power it down and conserve battery when not in use.
3.3 Placement Options
The timer offers flexible placement:
- Magnetic Attachment: The strong magnetic back allows the timer to be securely attached to metal surfaces such as refrigerators or whiteboards.
- Integrated Kickstand: Pull out the kickstand on the back to position the timer upright on a desk or counter.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting a Countdown Timer
- Turn the multifunction knob on the side of the timer to adjust the desired time. Turning clockwise increases the time, counter-clockwise decreases it.
- The display will show minutes and seconds, or hours and minutes, depending on the duration set.
- Press the multifunction knob once to start the countdown. The visual red bar will begin to recede.
- To pause the timer, press the knob again. Press it once more to resume.
- To clear the timer, press and hold the knob for a few seconds until the display resets.

4.2 Count Up (Stopwatch) Function
To use the stopwatch function, ensure the timer is cleared (display shows 00:00). Press the multifunction knob once to start counting up. Press again to pause, and hold to clear.

4.3 Adjusting Volume
Press the volume button on the side of the timer to cycle through the three volume settings:
- Loud: 85-95dB, suitable for noisy environments.
- Soft: 75-85dB, ideal for classrooms or quieter spaces.
- Mute: The display will flash when the timer reaches zero, providing a visual alert without sound.

4.4 Adjusting Brightness
Press the brightness button on the side of the timer to switch between two brightness modes:
- Bright: Standard display brightness.
- ECO: Reduced brightness to conserve battery life.

5.1 Cleaning
To clean the timer, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
5.2 Battery Care
The timer is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery. For optimal battery life:
- Charge the timer when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

- Timer not turning on: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position and the battery is charged. Connect to a USB-C power source to check if it powers on.
- Display is dim: Check the brightness setting. Press the brightness button to switch to 'Bright' mode.
- Alarm not sounding: Check the volume setting. Press the volume button to select 'Loud' or 'Soft' mode. If in 'Mute' mode, only the display will flash.
- Timer not responding to dial: Ensure the timer is not paused. Try clearing the timer by pressing and holding the multifunction knob.
- Flashing arrow on display: This is a normal indicator of the timer's operation, showing that time is actively progressing. It is not an error.
