Port Specifications:

3.1 Initial Connection

1. Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop.
2. For optimal performance and to ensure all ports function correctly, connect your laptop's original charger to the PD3.0 (Power Delivery) port on the docking station. This provides up to 100W of power to your laptop and the connected devices.

3.2 USB-C Port Compatibility

It is crucial to confirm the type of USB-C port on your laptop for full functionality. Not all USB-C ports support video output or full data transfer capabilities.

• Type One (Only for charging): These ports only support power delivery. Only the USB-C female charging port on the hub will function.
• Type Two (For data transfer): These ports support data transfer. Only the USB-A, RJ45 Ethernet, and SD/TF Card Reader on the hub will function.
• Type Three (Fully functional): These ports support Audio/Mic, PD3.0, USB-A, HDMI, SD/TF, VGA, and Ethernet. All ports on the hub can work only when your laptop has this type of USB-C port (e.g., Thunderbolt 3/4, USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 with DisplayPort Alternate Mode).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Modes

The docking station supports various display modes for both Windows and macOS systems.

• Mirror Mode: Displays the same content on all connected external monitors as on your laptop screen. Supported on both Windows and Mac OS.
• Extend Mode: Extends your desktop across multiple external monitors, allowing for different content on each screen.

Note for Mac OS: All external monitors will display the same content in Extend Mode (only supports SST mode). Mac OS does not support different content on multiple external monitors through this docking station.

Note for Windows: For NVIDIA & AMD graphics cards, you can display up to 4 external screens simultaneously. If your laptop has an Intel graphics card (especially DP1.4), one of the screens may remain black when attempting to use four external displays.

4.2 Resolution Capabilities

The docking station supports high-definition visual output.

For Windows systems, only NVIDIA & AMD graphics cards can output 4K@60Hz. Intel graphics cards typically output 4K@30Hz. The final resolution depends on your host device's capabilities.

6.1 Power Supply Suggestions

Since the product will have power consumption during use, and the maximum output of the laptop's USB-C port is limited, the load on the dock is relatively large after connecting many ports. To avoid insufficient power allocated to the dock due to laptop protection settings, it is recommended to connect a 100W power supply to the dock's PD port.

6.2 Display Issues

• About 4 Screens: Only DP1.4 and AMD processor computers or Apple models listed after 2018 with dual systems installed can achieve 4 screen output when using the Windows system.
• About Resolution: The final resolution of HDMI output depends on your host device's capabilities. Only when your devices support 4K resolution (AMD + DP1.4), the video output will be 4K.
• About M1 Chip: For the unstable performance of the latest 2020 Mac processor M1 chip, the video output may fail to display properly in parts of the devices.

6.3 General Tips

• After connecting: Please connect the original charger of your laptop to the dock's PD port (USB-C PD) to ensure the normal use of product functions.
• About Using Other Converters: We do not recommend using any converter to connect the computer or an external monitor to the dock. It is hard to confirm whether the converter is compatible, and it may affect the function of the docking station.
• Logitech Bluetooth Products: This product is not compatible with Logitech Bluetooth wireless products. When used together, it will cause Bluetooth signal interference, causing the cursor to delay or flicker.
