Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Aigostar Solar LED Floodlight, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
  • Inspect Connections: Periodically check the cable connections between the solar panel and the floodlight to ensure they are secure and the waterproof connector is tightly sealed.
  • Clean the Floodlight: Clean the floodlight's lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to maintain light output and appearance.
  • Battery Care: The LiFePO4 battery is designed for long life. Avoid prolonged storage in a completely discharged state. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Aigostar Solar LED Floodlight, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Light does not turn on at night:
    • Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight for 4-6 hours daily.
    • Verify that the "WAKE UP" button on the remote control has been pressed for initial activation.
    • Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure.
    • The red light on the floodlight indicates charging. If it's not blinking during the day, the panel might not be receiving enough light or there's a connection issue.
  • Light duration is shorter than expected:
    • The charging effect can be reduced during cloudy or rainy days, or in autumn and winter due to less sunlight. This will affect the night-time illumination duration.
    • Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
    • Check if the brightness is set to 100%; reducing it to 50% can extend illumination time.
  • Remote control is not working:
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the floodlight.
    • Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
