3. Setup

3.1 Initial Connection

  1. Connect the FIFINE MI19 Audio Mixer to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. Insert one end into the OTG/PC port on the mixer and the other into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Your computer should automatically recognize the device as a plug-and-play audio interface. No additional drivers are typically required for Mac or Windows.
  3. Connect your microphone to the MIC input using an XLR cable. If using a condenser microphone requiring phantom power, ensure the 48V button on the mixer is activated.
  4. Connect your headphones to the HEADPHONE jack for monitoring.
  5. Connect any external audio sources (e.g., phone, MP3 player) to the LINE IN jack.
  6. Connect your speakers or other output devices to the LINE OUT jack.

3.2 System Audio Settings

After connecting the mixer, verify your computer's audio settings:

  • Windows: Go to Sound Settings > Playback and Recording tabs. Select the FIFINE MI19 as your default input and output device.
  • Mac: Go to System Preferences > Sound > Input and Output tabs. Select the FIFINE MI19 as your default input and output device.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Audio Controls

  • Volume Sliders: Adjust the individual volume levels for Microphone, Line-In, Headphone, and Line-Out channels by moving the corresponding sliders up or down.
  • Mute Buttons: Press the dedicated MUTE button below each channel slider to instantly mute or unmute that channel.
  • MIC MONITOR Button: Press this button to enable or disable real-time monitoring of your microphone input through your headphones.
  • 48V Phantom Power: Press the 48V button to supply phantom power to condenser microphones connected via the XLR input. An indicator light will illuminate when active.

4.2 Sound Effects and Voice Changing

  • Custom Buttons (A, B, C, D): These four buttons allow you to record and play back personalized sound effects. Press and hold to record, then tap to play.
  • ELECTRIC Button: Cycles through 12 different electric tone scales (Auto-Tune modes) to modify your vocal pitch.
  • CHANGE VOICE Button: Cycles through 6 voice changing effects: Male, Female, Robot, Monster, Baby, and Elder.

4.3 RGB Lighting Control

  • RGB Button: Press the RGB button to cycle through different lighting modes and colors. There are 5 modes and more than 8 colors available to suit various streaming themes or personal preferences.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the mixer clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the mixer is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental falls.
  • Avoid exposing the mixer to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
