4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the machine.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
- Wash the water tank and drip tray with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
4.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, potable water up to the MAX level indicator.
- Place the water tank back onto the machine, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.3 First Use / Priming the Machine
- Plug the machine into a power outlet. The power button will flash red, then turn green when ready.
- Place an empty cup on the drip tray.
- Without a capsule, move the lever to the hot water position (red) and let water flow until the tank is almost empty.
- Repeat the process with the cold water position (blue).
- This primes the pump and cleans the internal system. The machine is now ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing a Beverage
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is powered on (green light).
- Open the locking handle and pull out the capsule holder.
- Insert a Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsule into the holder.
- Push the capsule holder back into the machine and close the locking handle. The machine will automatically power on if it was in eco-mode.
- Adjust the drip tray height to match your cup size.
- Using the 'Play&Select' function, adjust the LED indicators on the control panel to the recommended water level for your capsule (usually indicated on the capsule packaging).
- Place your cup on the drip tray.
- Move the lever to the red position for hot beverages or the blue position for cold beverages.
- The machine will automatically stop dispensing when the selected volume is reached.
- Once dispensing is complete, return the lever to the central position.
- Open the locking handle, remove the used capsule, and dispose of it properly.

5.2 XL Function
For an extra-large beverage (up to 300 ml), select the maximum water level on the LED indicator before dispensing. This function is ideal for longer drinks.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- After each use, remove and empty the drip tray. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse.
- Rinse the water tank daily with fresh water.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Remove and rinse the capsule holder after each use.
