2. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your ROIDMI EVA for the first time.
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Placement
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the self-emptying and self-cleaning base station on a hard, flat surface against a wall, ensuring there is adequate space around it (at least 0.5 meters on both sides and 1.5 meters in front).
- Connect the power cord to the base station and plug it into a wall outlet.

2.2 Water Tanks and Dust Bag Installation
- Open the top cover of the base station.
- Install the clean water tank and dirty water tank into their respective slots. Fill the clean water tank with clean tap water.
- Ensure the dust bag is correctly installed in its compartment within the base station.

2.3 Robot Placement and Charging
- Place the ROIDMI EVA robot vacuum onto the charging contacts of the base station. Ensure it is properly docked.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures your ROIDMI EVA operates efficiently and extends its lifespan.
4.1 Base Station Maintenance
- Water Tanks: Regularly empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank. Clean both tanks with fresh water to prevent residue buildup.
- Dust Bag: The base station's dust bag can hold up to 60 days of dirt. Replace the dust bag when the app indicates it is full or when you notice a decrease in suction performance.
- Mop Cleaning Tray: Periodically clean the mop cleaning tray inside the base station to remove any accumulated dirt or debris.

4.2 Robot Maintenance
- Mop Pads: Remove and wash the mop pads regularly. Replace them every 3-6 months depending on usage.
- Main Brush: Remove the main brush and clean any tangled hair or debris. Use the cleaning tool provided to cut and remove hair.
- Side Brush: Check the side brush for wear and tear. Clean any tangled hair. Replace if bristles are damaged.
- Sensors: Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, charging contacts) with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper operation.
- Filter: Clean the filter regularly by tapping out dust. Replace the filter every 1-3 months.
