1. Introduction and Product Overview

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Sylvania Stay-Lit Platinum 2 set of 100 LED Mini Lights. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, these lights feature advanced Stay-Lit technology, ensuring continuous illumination even if individual bulbs are loose, burnt out, broken, or missing. Each package contains two strands, offering a combined lighted length of 66 feet. These Energy Star certified lights provide significant energy savings and are UL Certified for safety.

2. Setup and Installation

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the two strands of LED mini lights from their packaging. Untangle them gently to avoid damage.
2. Placement: Determine your desired location. These lights are versatile and can be used to decorate Christmas trees, mantles, stairways, doorways, outdoor trees, bushes, doors, windows, and roof-lines.
3. Connecting Multiple Sets: Each strand is 33 feet in length. To extend the lighted length, locate the male plug on one end of a strand and the female receptacle on the other. Insert the male plug into the female receptacle of another strand. You can connect up to 22 sets (totaling 2200 lights) end-to-end.
4. Power Connection: Once all desired strands are connected, plug the first strand into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is suitable for the intended indoor or outdoor environment.

3. Operating Instructions

Once properly connected to a power source, the Sylvania Stay-Lit Platinum LED Mini Lights will illuminate with a pure white, flicker-free glow. These lights are designed for a consistent, steady illumination and do not feature color-changing options or multiple lighting modes.

4. Maintenance

• Bulb Replacement: Thanks to Stay-Lit technology, the entire set remains lit even if a single bulb is loose, burnt out, broken, or missing. If you choose to replace a non-functioning bulb, gently pull it from its socket and insert a new, compatible mini LED bulb.
• Fuse Replacement: The plug contains a safety fuse. If the entire light strand fails to illuminate, the fuse may need replacement. To access the fuse, slide open the small cover on the side of the plug (often requiring a small screwdriver). Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating.
• Cleaning: Always disconnect the lights from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the bulbs and wiring. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the lights in water.
• Storage: When not in use, carefully coil the light strands and store them in their original packaging or a protective container. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prolong their lifespan.

5. Troubleshooting

• Lights Not Illuminating:
  • Ensure the plug is fully inserted into a functional electrical outlet.
  • Check the fuse located within the plug. Replace if blown (refer to Section 4: Maintenance).
  • Verify that all connections between multiple strands are secure.
• Individual Bulbs Not Lighting: Due to Stay-Lit technology, the rest of the strand should remain lit. If desired, gently remove the non-functioning bulb and replace it with a new one.
