1. Introduction

The Godox TT350S is a compact and versatile mini speedlite designed for Sony cameras, offering advanced features such as 2.4G wireless master and slave capabilities, 1/8000s High-Speed Sync (HSS), and TTL automatic flash metering. Its portable design makes it ideal for various photography scenarios, including portraits, travel, and outdoor shooting. This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your TT350S speedlite.

2. Key Features

• Master-Slave Functionality: Operates as a master unit to control other Godox flashes (AD600, AD360II, V860IIS, V850II, TT685S, TT600) or as a slave unit triggered by X1T-S, V860IIS, V850II, TT685S, TT600.
• Integrated 2.4G Wireless Transmission: Ensures uniform illumination and stable output with a continuous transmission range of up to 100 meters.
• Versatile Flash Modes: Supports TTL, Manual (M), S1/S2 optical slave modes, Automatic/Manual Zoom (24-105mm), High-Speed Sync (HSS up to 1/8000s), Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC), Front and Rear Curtain Synchronization, and Multi-flash.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the flash unit.
2. Insert two AA batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH recommended) according to the polarity indicators inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly to prevent damage to the unit. Remove batteries during prolonged periods of non-use.

3.2 Mounting on Camera

1. Slide the hot shoe of the TT350S into the camera's hot shoe mount.
2. Rotate the locking ring on the flash unit clockwise until it is securely fastened to the camera.
3. To remove, rotate the locking ring counter-clockwise and slide the flash off the hot shoe.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the flash on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2 LCD Panel and Controls

The TT350S features a clear LCD panel for displaying settings and a set of function buttons and a rotary dial for navigation and adjustments.

• MODE Button: Cycles through flash modes (TTL, M, Multi).
• ZOOM Button: Adjusts the flash zoom coverage (Auto/Manual 24-105mm).
• SYNC Button: Toggles sync modes (Front-curtain, Rear-curtain, HSS).
• SLAVE/GR/CH Button: Used for wireless settings (Slave mode, Group, Channel).
• SET Button: Confirms selections.
• Rotary Dial: Navigates menus and adjusts parameter values.

4.3 Flash Modes

The TT350S supports several flash modes to suit different shooting requirements:

• TTL (Through-The-Lens) Mode: The flash output is automatically adjusted by the camera's metering system for optimal exposure.
• Manual (M) Mode: Allows manual control over flash power output from 1/1 to 1/128, with 22 levels of fine adjustment.
• Multi (Stroboscopic) Mode: Fires a series of rapid flashes during a single exposure to capture multiple movements of a subject.
• S1/S2 Optical Slave Mode: Triggers the flash optically when another flash fires. S1 fires on the first flash, S2 ignores the pre-flash of a TTL system.

4.4 Synchronization Functions

• High-Speed Sync (HSS): Enables flash synchronization at shutter speeds up to 1/8000s, allowing for wider apertures in bright conditions or freezing fast motion.
• Front-Curtain Sync: The flash fires immediately after the shutter opens.
• Rear-Curtain Sync: The flash fires just before the shutter closes, creating a trail of light behind moving subjects.
• Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC): Adjusts the flash output to fine-tune exposure.

4.5 Wireless Operation (2.4G)

The TT350S can function as both a master and a slave unit within the Godox 2.4G wireless X system.

• Master Mode: The TT350S can control other Godox slave flashes such as AD600, AD360II, V860IIS, V850II, TT685S, and TT600.
• Slave Mode: The TT350S can be triggered by Godox master units like X1T-S, V860IIS, V850II, TT685S, and TT600.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flash unit. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners.
• Flash Tube: The flash tube is a delicate component. Avoid touching it directly with bare hands. If it becomes dirty, clean it gently with a lint-free cloth.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries when the flash is not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
• Storage: Store the speedlite in a dry, dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided protective bag for storage and transport.
