1. Introduction

2. Setup Instructions

The DEERFAMY Ice Fishing Shelter features a pop-up design for quick and effortless assembly. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Unpack the shelter from its carrying bag.
2. Lay the collapsed shelter flat on the ground.
3. Grasp the central hub of one side and pull outwards until the wall pops into place. Repeat for all sides.
4. Push up on the roof hub from the inside to fully extend the shelter.
5. Secure the shelter using the provided ice anchors and wind ropes. Twist the anchors into the ice or ground at the designated points on the shelter's base.

3. Operating Features

3.1 Ventilation and Visibility

The shelter is equipped with two air vents, two doors, and two movable PVC windows to ensure optimal airflow and natural light. The inner black coating helps create a darker environment, which can be beneficial for certain fishing techniques.

3.2 Storage and Safety

• Drying: Ensure the shelter is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mold and mildew growth.
• Storage: Store the shelter in its original carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Weather Conditions: This shelter is designed for wind resistance and lightness. Please note: It is not recommended for use in the rain.

• Difficulty with Pop-Up Mechanism: Ensure all fabric is clear of the frame joints. Apply gentle, even pressure when extending the hubs. If a hub is stuck, check for any obstructions or tangled fabric.
• Instability in Wind: Verify that all ice anchors are fully twisted into the ground/ice and that wind ropes are taut and properly secured. In extreme wind conditions, consider additional anchoring points or relocating the shelter.
• Zipper Issues: If zippers stick, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or a graphite pencil to the teeth. Avoid forcing the zipper.
