4. Setup Guide

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Install Battery: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert the 6700mAh removable battery, ensuring it clicks into place. The device also has a 100mAh backup battery to retain data during hot-swapping.
  2. Charge Device: Connect the charge adapter to the charging cradle, then place the P161 scanner into the cradle. Alternatively, use the USB cable to directly charge the device. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
  3. Initial Power On: Press and hold the power button until the Tera logo appears on the screen.
