5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Stylus

A clean stylus ensures optimal sound quality and prolongs the life of your records. Use a soft brush (not included) to gently clean the stylus from back to front. Do not use excessive force or harsh cleaning solutions.

5.2 Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the record player's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.

5.3 Storage

When not in use, ensure the tonearm is secured with its clip. Close the lid to protect the platter and tonearm from dust. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your JORLAI T316, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet, or that the built-in battery is charged.
  • No Sound: Check that the volume is turned up on both the record player and any connected external devices. Ensure the mode selector is set correctly (PH for vinyl, BT for Bluetooth, Aux for Aux-in). If using external speakers, verify their connection and power.
  • Skipping Records: Ensure the record player is on a stable, level surface. Clean the record and the stylus. Check if the stylus is damaged and replace if necessary.
  • Bluetooth Not Connecting: Make sure the record player is in Bluetooth mode and the indicator light is flashing. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try restarting both the record player and your device.
  • Poor Sound Quality: Clean the stylus and record. Ensure the correct speed is selected. If using external connections, check cable integrity.
