5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Inserting the Battery

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the mouse.
2. Insert the provided AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

5.2 Connecting to Your Device

The UGREEN Vertical Ergonomic Mouse supports two wireless connection modes: 2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth 5.0. You can connect up to three devices simultaneously (one via 2.4G and two via Bluetooth).

5.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the battery compartment of the mouse.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. Slide the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the '2.4G' position (indicated by a USB icon).
4. The mouse will automatically connect to your device. No additional drivers are usually required.

5.2.2 Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)

1. Slide the switch on the bottom of the mouse to either the 'BT1' or 'BT2' position.
2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (usually located near the switch) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for new devices and select "UGREEN Ergonomic Mouse" (or similar name) from the list.
5. Once paired, the indicator light on the mouse will stop blinking and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off.
6. Repeat steps for BT2 if connecting a second Bluetooth device.
