2. Safety Information
Please read and understand the following safety precautions before using the device:
- The main unit and remote sensors must be placed within 60 meters (200 feet) of each other for optimal wireless communication.
- Ensure both units are positioned at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from electronic devices that may cause interference, such as televisions, microwaves, computers, or radios.
- Do not use heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries in the remote sensors. For low-temperature conditions, lithium batteries are recommended as alkaline batteries may not function properly.
- Avoid mixing old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Prevent water or any other liquids from entering the sensor units.

5. Setup Guide
5.1 Installing Batteries
For Remote Sensors:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into each sensor, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
For Main Display Unit:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the main unit, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Alternatively, connect the main unit to a USB power source using the provided USB cable for continuous backlight operation.
5.2 Pairing Sensors with Main Unit
The sensors and main unit should automatically pair upon battery installation. If pairing does not occur:
- Ensure both the main unit and all sensors have fresh batteries installed.
- Place the main unit and sensors close to each other (within 1 meter).
- On the main unit, press and hold the "CH" (Channel) button for 3 seconds to initiate a search for sensors. The main unit will display "---" for the sensor channels while searching.
- On each remote sensor, press the "TX" button (usually located inside the battery compartment or on the back) to send a signal to the main unit.
- Once paired, the temperature and humidity readings for each channel will appear on the main unit's display.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. USB cable not connected or faulty. | Replace batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Check USB cable connection and power source. |
| Remote sensor readings are "---" or inaccurate. | Sensor out of range. Batteries low in sensor. Interference. Sensor not paired. | Move sensor closer to main unit (within 60m). Replace sensor batteries. Relocate units away from electronic interference. Re-pair sensor (see Section 5.2). |
| Temperature/humidity readings seem incorrect. | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight, heat source, or moisture. | Relocate sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area, away from direct heat or water. Allow time for readings to stabilize. |
| Backlight not staying on. | Unit is battery-powered only. | Connect the main unit to a USB power source for continuous backlight. When battery-powered, backlight stays on for 10 seconds. |
| Alert alarm not sounding. | Alert function is deactivated. Volume too low. | Short press the "ALERT" button to activate the alarm (alarm icon should appear). Ensure the environment is quiet enough to hear the alarm. |
