3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing

Carefully open the product packaging. Inside, you will find the KEMOVE K98SE Mechanical Keyboard, a USB-C cable, a keycap puller, and this user manual.

3.2 Connecting the Keyboard

The K98SE is a wired keyboard and connects via USB-C. Locate the USB-C port on the keyboard (typically on the top edge) and connect one end of the provided USB-C cable. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.

The keyboard is plug-and-play for basic typing and office use on Windows 11/10/8/7/XP, Mac OS, Vista, and Linux. For advanced features and customization, install the K98SE software (Windows only).

4.1 Backlight Control

• FN + ↓ (Down Arrow): Decrease backlight brightness.
• FN + ← (Left Arrow): Decrease lighting effect speed.
• FN + → (Right Arrow): Increase lighting effect speed.
