Setup

  1. Unpack the iMac: Carefully remove the iMac and its accessories from the packaging. Place the iMac on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the 143W power adapter, then connect the adapter to the power port on the back of the iMac. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
  3. Connect Accessories:
    • Magic Keyboard: Connect the Magic Keyboard to the iMac using the provided USB-C to Lightning cable to pair it. Once paired, it will connect wirelessly.
    • Magic Mouse: Connect the Magic Mouse to the iMac using the provided USB-C to Lightning cable to pair it. Once paired, it will connect wirelessly.
  4. Power On: Press the power button located on the lower-left side of the back of the iMac.
  5. Initial Setup Assistant: Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, sign in with your Apple ID, and set up Touch ID.
