4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the RYOBI USB Lithium 2Ah battery.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the battery and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The LED fuel gauge on the battery will indicate the charging status. Refer to the battery's specific instructions for detailed LED patterns.
- A full charge is indicated when the LED fuel gauge shows a solid green light.
Note: The USB Lithium 2Ah battery can also charge mobile devices via its USB-C port.
4.2 Installing the Battery
- Ensure the power cutter is turned off before installing or removing the battery.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the power cutter.
- Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release latch (if present) and slide the battery out.
