Operating Instructions
Charging the Shaver
Before first use, fully charge the shaver. Connect the charging cable to the shaver and plug it into a power outlet. The battery indicator lights on the shaver will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 50 minutes of cordless shaving. For a quick shave, a 5-minute charge is sufficient.
Shaving
You can use the Braun Series 5 5118s for both dry and wet shaving. For dry shaving, ensure your face is clean and dry. For wet shaving, you may use shaving foam or gel. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. Select your desired shave mode: Standard for a balanced shave or Turbo for a faster, more powerful shave. Gently move the shaver against the direction of hair growth, ensuring the flexible head maintains contact with your skin.
Using the Precision Trimmer
To use the precision trimmer, ensure the shaver is turned off. Detach the main shaver head by pulling it off. Attach the Precision Trimmer EasyClick attachment until it clicks into place. Turn on the shaver and use the trimmer for precise styling of sideburns, mustache, or beard lines.
Travel Lock
To prevent accidental activation during travel, activate the travel lock. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the lock symbol appears on the display. To deactivate, press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds.

Maintenance and Cleaning
