Setup Guide
1. Connecting the Docking Station
- Connect the provided power supply to the DC IN port on the docking station and then to a power outlet.
- Connect the USB combo cable to the USB-C port on the docking station.
- Connect the other end of the USB combo cable (USB-C or USB-A connector) to an available USB port on your computer.
2. Installing Drives (Tool-Free)
The docking station supports various drive types with tool-free installation.

For M.2 NVMe/SATA SSDs:
- Locate the M.2 slots on the docking station (labeled "M.2 NVMe SATA" and "M.2 NVMe").
- Gently insert your M.2 SSD into the corresponding slot at an angle.
- Press down the M.2 SSD and secure it with one of the provided M.2 rubber fixations.
For 2.5"/3.5" HDDs/SSDs:
- Locate the 2.5"/3.5" drive bay (labeled "SATA 2.5"/3.5" HDD 2.5" SSD").
- Slide your 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD/SSD into the bay until it firmly connects with the SATA connector.
Operating Instructions
1. Data Transfer Mode (as External Drive)
Once connected to your computer, the installed drives will appear as external storage devices. You can access, read, and write data to them like any other external drive.

2. Offline Cloning Function
The docking station supports offline cloning, meaning you can clone drives without connecting to a computer. This function creates a bit-for-bit copy from a source drive to a target drive.

Cloning Steps:
- Ensure the docking station is disconnected from any computer.
- Insert the Source Drive (the drive you want to copy from) into the "SOURCE" slot.
- Insert the Target Drive (the drive you want to copy to) into the "TARGET" slot. Note: The target drive must be equal to or larger in capacity than the source drive. All data on the target drive will be overwritten.
- Ensure the power supply is connected and the docking station is powered on.
- Press and hold the "CLONE" button for approximately 5 seconds until the progress LEDs (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) begin to flash.
- Release the button, then quickly press the "CLONE" button again (within 1 second) to start the cloning process.
- The progress LEDs will illuminate sequentially to indicate the cloning progress (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
- Once all LEDs are solid, the cloning process is complete. Power off the docking station before removing the drives.

Important: Ensure the target drive has no critical data, as it will be completely erased during the cloning process.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ICY BOX Docking Station, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not block the ventilation openings on the device.
- Handle drives carefully when inserting or removing them to prevent damage to connectors.
- Always power off the docking station before disconnecting the power supply or removing drives after use.
Troubleshooting
