2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your ANRAN PoE Camera System.

2.1 Initial Connection

1. Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using an HDMI or VGA cable.
2. Connect the NVR to your router using an Ethernet cable for network access.
3. Connect the NVR to a power source using the provided power adapter.
4. Connect each PoE camera to an available PoE port on the NVR using the provided Ethernet cables. The cameras will receive both power and data through these cables.

2.2 Mobile App Setup

Download the ANRAN app from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store). Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR system for remote viewing and control.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control

The PTZ cameras offer 355° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical tilt, allowing you to adjust the monitoring angle remotely via the ANRAN app. This ensures comprehensive coverage without dead zones.

3.2 Night Vision Modes

The cameras support three night vision modes: Infrared, Full Color, and Intelligent. You can select the mode that best suits your monitoring needs through the app.

• Infrared Mode: Provides clear black and white images in low light or complete darkness.
• Full Color Mode: Utilizes built-in spotlights to capture full-color video even at night.
• Intelligent Mode: Automatically switches to full-color recording when motion is detected in dark environments.

3.3 AI Detection and Smart Alerts

The system features advanced AI analysis technology to accurately identify humans, vehicles, pets, and packages. Upon detection, the cameras can trigger light and sound alarms to deter intruders and send instant notifications to your ANRAN app.

3.4 Two-Way Audio

With built-in microphones and speakers, the cameras enable two-way communication. You can speak to visitors or deter unwanted individuals directly through the ANRAN app on your phone.

3.5 24/7 Recording and Remote Access

The system provides continuous 24/7 recording, stored securely on the pre-installed 2TB hard drive. You can access live views and recorded footage anytime, anywhere, via the ANRAN app.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ANRAN camera system.

4.1 Weather Resistance

The cameras are IP67 weatherproof rated, designed to withstand various outdoor conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures (-10°C to 50°C / 13°F to 122°F). Regular visual inspection for debris or obstructions on the lens is recommended.

4.2 Hard Drive Management

The NVR comes with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. When the hard disk capacity is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest video files to save new recordings. No manual intervention is typically required for continuous recording.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ANRAN system, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• No Video Feed: Ensure all cables (power, Ethernet, HDMI/VGA) are securely connected. Check if the NVR and cameras are powered on. Verify network connectivity.
• Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure sufficient lighting for optimal image capture, especially for full-color night vision. Check the resolution settings in the NVR or app.
• No Motion Detection: Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust sensitivity levels and detection zones as needed.
• No Audio: Check microphone and speaker settings in the app. Ensure volume is not muted.
• Remote Access Issues: Confirm your NVR is connected to the internet. Check your router settings and ensure the ANRAN app has necessary network permissions on your mobile device.
• Hard Drive Full: The system is designed to automatically overwrite old footage. If recording stops unexpectedly, check the hard drive status in the NVR settings.
