5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.
After battery installation, the remote is ready to be used with your LUCORB 15-inch gym timer.

6. Operating Instructions
Ensure the gym timer is powered on and within range of the remote control. Point the remote directly at the timer for optimal signal transmission.
6.1 Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF (red power) button to turn the gym timer on or off.
6.2 Adjusting Volume and Brightness
- Press the Speaker Icon button to cycle through volume levels or mute the timer.
- Press the Brightness Icon button to adjust the display brightness of the gym timer.
6.3 Timer Modes
Select the desired timer mode by pressing the corresponding button:
- DN (Countdown): Initiates a countdown from a set time. Use arrow keys to set time, then OK and Play/Pause.
- UP (Count Up): Starts counting upwards from zero. Press Play/Pause to start/stop.
- ST (Stopwatch): Functions as a stopwatch. Press Play/Pause to start/stop.
- TA (TABATA): Activates the TABATA interval protocol (e.g., 20s work, 10s rest, 8 rounds).
- HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): Engages HIIT specific interval settings.
- FGB1 / FGB2 (Fight Gone Bad): Selects pre-programmed Fight Gone Bad interval routines.
6.4 General Operation
- 10s: Press to add a 10-second preparation time before a workout begins.
- Music Note Icon: Cycles through available tone types for alerts and beeps.
- Loop Icon: Activates or deactivates the Loop Countdown (EMOM - Every Minute On the Minute) function.
- Play/Pause Icon: Starts, pauses, or resumes any active timer or program.
- Skip Icon: Adjusts the countdown time before the end of an interval or program.
- Arrow Keys (Up, Down, Left, Right): Used for navigation, adjusting values, or shifting between digits during setup.
- OK: Confirms selections or saves settings.
- Pencil Icon (Edit): Enters edit mode for modifying timer settings or programmable plans.
- Trash Can Icon (Delete): Deletes selected settings or programmable plans.
6.5 Programmable Plans (P1-P9)
- The buttons labeled 1 P1 through 9 P9 allow you to select and activate pre-saved or custom programmable workout plans.
- To program a plan, enter edit mode using the Pencil Icon, configure your desired intervals, and then save it to one of the P1-P9 slots using the OK button.
6.6 Alarm Clock and Time Clock
- Press the Alarm Clock Icon to access and set alarm functions on the gym timer.
- Press the Clock Icon to view or adjust the current time displayed on the gym timer.
- Use the 12/24H button to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
7.2 Battery Replacement
- If the remote control's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, replace the batteries as described in Section 5.1.
- Always replace both batteries at the same time.

- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
