4. Power Connection
The Carpuride W702 offers two primary methods for power connection:
4.1 Direct Battery Connection (Recommended)
Connect the provided power cable directly to your motorcycle's battery. Ensure the output voltage is 12V and the current is at least 1A. The red wire connects to the positive terminal (+12V ACC), and the black wire connects to the negative terminal (Ground). The W702 features built-in reverse connection protection, preventing damage if wires are incorrectly connected.
4.2 USB Port Connection
Alternatively, you can power the W702 using the USB cable by plugging it into your motorcycle's USB port. For stable operation, ensure the motorcycle's USB port provides an output of 4.5V and 2.5A or higher. If the USB port output is insufficient, it is recommended to use the direct battery connection to prevent the screen from shutting down unexpectedly.

8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Applications Not Working in CarPlay/Android Auto
If certain applications do not function within Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, this is typically not a product defect. It is due to these applications not having an agreement with Apple or Google for integration. Please use applications that are officially supported by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
8.2 USB Power Issues
If the device experiences intermittent power or shuts down when connected via USB, ensure your motorcycle's USB port provides sufficient power (4.5V, 2.5A or higher). If the output is lower, it is strongly recommended to use the direct battery connection method (12V, 1A) for stable operation.
