Setup and Assembly

The Echelon Stair Climber Sport is designed for minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your unit for use:

  1. Carefully remove the stair climber from its packaging. It is recommended to have two people for this step due to the unit's weight (73 lbs).
  2. Unfold the unit to its upright position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.
  3. Attach the 3-inch LCD display console to the designated slot on the handlebar assembly. Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into the console.
  4. Adjust the handlebars to your preferred height. The unit offers two handle positions for user comfort.
  5. Set the incline level. The stair climber features 3 adjustable incline levels. Lift the rear support bar and place it into the desired slot.

Operating Instructions

3-inch LCD Display Console

The integrated 3-inch LCD display console tracks your workout metrics. It shows time, speed, and calories burned. Use the buttons on the console to navigate through the display modes.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The stair climber features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to sync with the Echelon Fit App on your personal device (not included). This enables you to monitor progress, save workouts, and access guided classes. Refer to the Echelon Fit App instructions for detailed pairing procedures.

Adjusting Incline Levels

The unit offers 3 incline levels to vary the intensity of your workout. To adjust, carefully lift the rear support bar and reposition it into one of the three available slots. Ensure the bar is securely seated before beginning your workout.

Adjusting Resistance

Customize your workout intensity using the adjustable resistance knob. Turn the knob clockwise to increase resistance for a more challenging workout, and counter-clockwise to decrease resistance. The magnetic resistance system provides smooth and quiet operation.

Handle Positions

The stair climber is equipped with two foam-covered handle positions to accommodate users of different heights and provide comfortable grip during exercise. Choose the position that allows for a natural and stable posture.

Foot Platforms

The wide, stable foot platforms (11" x 7") are designed to ensure safety and balance during your workout. Ensure your entire foot is placed securely on the platform before and during stepping motions.

Folding and Storage

The Echelon Stair Climber Sport features a foldable design for convenient storage, making it ideal for small spaces. To fold the unit:

  1. Ensure the incline level is set to the lowest position.
  2. Release any locking mechanisms for the handlebar assembly and fold it down.
  3. Collapse the main frame of the unit. The stair climber folds flat in 3 steps.
  4. Once folded, use the integrated transport wheels and built-in handle to move the unit for storage.
