2. Motorcycle USB Phone Charger Setup

The USB charger can be connected in two ways:

  1. Using an Existing SAE Pigtail: If your motorcycle has an existing SAE quick release pigtail, simply connect the USB charger's SAE connector to it.
  2. Direct Battery Connection (using included cable):
    • Connect the ring terminals of the included SAE to Ring Terminal cable to your motorcycle's battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
    • Ensure the connections are secure.
    • Connect the SAE quick release connector of the USB charger to the SAE connector of the newly installed battery cable.

Mount the USB charger in a suitable location on your motorcycle, ensuring the waterproof cap is accessible and can be properly secured when not in use. It is recommended to position the USB port downwards to prevent water ingress.
