4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphones

  1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the headphones provide up to 45-50 hours of playtime.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are charged.
  2. Press and hold the Multi-function Button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "PowerLocus Bobo" from the list to connect. The LED indicator will turn solid blue once connected.

4.3 Wired Connection (AUX Mode)

To use the headphones in wired mode:

  1. Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX port on the headphones.
  2. Plug the other end into the audio jack of your device.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.

4.4 Y-Sharing Plug

The included Y-sharing plug allows two headphones to connect to a single device:

  1. Plug the Y-sharing plug into the audio jack of your device.
  2. Connect two 3.5mm audio cables (one from each headphone) into the two ports on the Y-sharing plug.
  3. Both users can now listen to audio from the same device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Multi-function Button for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Multi-function Button for 3 seconds.

5.2 Volume Control and Limiting Modes

The headphones feature three volume limiting modes to protect children's hearing:

  • 74dB Toddler Mode: Lowest safe volume for very young children.
  • 85dB Study Mode: Recommended safe listening level for general use.
  • 94dB Travel Mode: Higher volume for noisy environments like airplanes, while still being limited.

To switch between volume modes, press the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously.

5.3 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Multi-function Button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down (-) button.

5.4 Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the Multi-function Button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Multi-function Button.

5.5 LED Lights Control

To turn the LED lights on or off, double-tap the Multi-function Button.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphones. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the headphones and store them in the provided carrying case to protect them from dust and damage. Avoid storing in extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Headphones not turning on: Ensure the headphones are fully charged.
  • Cannot pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the headphones are in pairing mode (flashing blue/red LED). Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range. Try restarting both devices.
  • No sound in wired mode: Check that the 3.5mm audio cable is securely plugged into both the headphones and the device. Ensure the device's volume is not muted.
  • Sound is too low/high: Adjust the volume using the +/- buttons on the headphones or your connected device. Check the volume limiting mode setting.
  • LED lights not working: Double-tap the Multi-function Button to toggle the LED lights on/off.
