4. Setup

Before first use, perform the following setup steps.

4.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the generator and all accessories from the packaging.
  • Inspect for any shipping damage. Contact your dealer if damage is found.
  • Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

4.2 Adding Engine Oil

The generator is shipped without engine oil. You must add the correct amount and type of oil before starting.

  1. Place the generator on a level surface.
  2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick (refer to Product Overview section for location).
  3. Unscrew and remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
  4. Carefully add the recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) to the crankcase until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
  5. Reinstall the oil fill cap/dipstick securely.

Note: The generator is equipped with a low-oil shutdown sensor. It will not start or will stop if the oil level is too low.

4.3 Adding Fuel

Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.

  1. Ensure the generator is turned OFF and cool.
  2. Move the generator to a well-ventilated outdoor area.
  3. Unscrew the fuel cap.
  4. Slowly add gasoline to the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. Leave space for fuel expansion.
  5. Securely replace the fuel cap.
  6. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

WARNING: Never refuel while the engine is running or hot.

4.4 Grounding the Generator

Proper grounding is essential for safety. Connect the generator to an appropriate ground source.

  • Connect a heavy-gauge copper wire from the generator's ground terminal to a suitable ground rod driven into the earth.
  • Consult local electrical codes for specific grounding requirements.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Generator

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and properly grounded.
  2. Check engine oil and fuel levels.
  3. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
  4. Move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (if the engine is cold).
  5. Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
  6. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
  7. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
  8. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting electrical loads.

5.2 Connecting Electrical Loads

  • Ensure the generator is running stably.
  • Plug your appliances or tools into the AC 230V outlets.
  • Do not overload the generator. The total wattage of connected devices must not exceed the generator's rated output (2200W).
  • If the overload indicator lights up, disconnect some devices and press the Output/Reset button.

5.3 ECO Mode Operation

The ECO mode switch allows the engine speed to automatically adjust to the connected load, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise.

  • To activate ECO mode, switch the ECO mode switch to "ON".
  • For maximum power output or when starting high-load devices, switch ECO mode to "OFF".

5.4 Stopping the Generator

  1. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
  2. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
  3. Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
  4. Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your generator. Always perform maintenance with the engine OFF and cool.

6.1 Maintenance Schedule
