4. Setup and Initial Use
4.1 Battery Installation
The WUBEN E7 comes with a pre-installed 18350 rechargeable battery. Before first use, ensure the battery is properly seated and the tailcap is securely tightened. If removing or replacing the battery, unscrew the tailcap, insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight, and then re-tighten the tailcap.
4.2 Charging the Flashlight
The WUBEN E7 features a convenient Type-C charging port. To charge:
- Locate the Type-C charging port cover on the side of the flashlight.
- Gently lift the rubber cover to expose the port.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the flashlight and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
- The battery indicator light will show red during charging and turn blue when fully charged.
- Charging typically takes approximately 1.5 hours.
- Once charging is complete, securely close the rubber cover to maintain the IP68 waterproof rating.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Turn On/Off: Single click the power switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Mode Cycling: While the flashlight is on, long press the power switch to cycle through the modes: Low → Medium → High. Release the button to select the desired mode. The flashlight has a memory function and will turn on in the last used mode (excluding Turbo, Strobe, and SOS).
5.2 Special Modes
- Super Bright (Turbo) Mode: Double click the power switch from any state (on or off) to activate Turbo mode (1800 lumens). Single click to return to the previous mode or turn off.
- Strobe Mode: Triple click the power switch from any state (on or off) to activate Strobe mode. Single click to return to the previous mode or turn off.
- SOS Mode: From Strobe mode, long press the power switch to switch to SOS mode. Single click to return to Strobe mode or turn off.
5.3 Lockout Function
To prevent accidental activation, the WUBEN E7 features a lockout function:
- Activate Lockout: From the OFF state, rapidly click the power switch four times. The flashlight will flash briefly to indicate it is locked.
- Deactivate Lockout: While in lockout mode, rapidly click the power switch four times. The flashlight will turn on in Low mode, indicating it is unlocked.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- O-Rings: Inspect the O-rings (seals) regularly for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain the waterproof integrity. A small amount of silicone grease can be applied to the O-rings to keep them lubricated and prevent cracking.
- Charging Port: Keep the Type-C charging port clean and free of debris. Ensure the rubber cover is properly sealed when not charging to prevent water and dust ingress.
- Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent potential leakage or damage. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
