Introduction

The Depusheng M6 is a portable 6-channel DJ mixer designed for various audio applications, including live streaming, podcasting, computer recording, and karaoke. It features a new generation digital DSP audio processing chip, 48V phantom power, HI-Z and PAD switches, 256 digital effects, and versatile connectivity options including USB, flash reader, and Bluetooth.

Setup

Powering the Mixer

The Depusheng M6 mixer requires a 5V-2A power source. It can be powered via a power adapter, a power bank, or directly from a computer using the provided USB-C cable. Please note that a power adapter or power bank is not included.

Input Controls

Digital Effects

The M6 mixer includes 256 built-in professional reverberation effects. Use the dedicated knob and display to select and apply various effects such as Echo, Reverb, Voice, Wah, and more. These effects enhance the sound for different occasions and recording needs.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Depusheng M6 DJ mixer, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Troubleshooting

No sound output
  • Power not connected or insufficient.
  • Main Level or channel Level knobs turned down.
  • Incorrect cable connections.
  • Speakers/headphones not connected or faulty.
  • Ensure 5V-2A power supply is connected.
  • Increase Main Level and individual channel Level knobs.
  • Verify all audio cables are securely connected to correct inputs/outputs.
  • Check speakers/headphones for proper function and connection.
No microphone input
  • Microphone not connected properly.
  • 48V Phantom Power not enabled for condenser mics.
  • Gain or Level for the channel is too low.
  • Microphone is faulty.
  • Ensure microphone is securely plugged into the correct input.
  • Activate the 48V Phantom Power switch if using a condenser microphone.
  • Increase the Gain and Level knobs for the microphone channel.
  • Test with a different microphone if possible.
Distorted sound
  • Input signal too high (clipping).
  • Output level too high.
  • Faulty cables or connections.
  • Reduce input Gain or activate PAD switch for high-level signals.
  • Lower Main Level or individual channel Level.
  • Check and replace any damaged cables.
Bluetooth not connecting
  • Mixer not in Bluetooth mode.
  • Device not in pairing mode or too far.
  • Interference.
  • Press MODE button until "bt" appears on the display.
  • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and in pairing mode, and move closer to the mixer.
  • Minimize other wireless devices nearby.
