Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the jack and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Handle Assembly: Insert the handle sections together to form the complete operating handle.
  3. Purging Air (Bleeding): Before first use, or if the jack has been stored for a long time, it may be necessary to purge air from the hydraulic system.
    • Turn the release valve counter-clockwise one full turn to open it.
    • Pump the handle 5-6 full strokes.
    • Turn the release valve clockwise to close it.
    • The jack should now operate smoothly. If not, repeat the process.
  4. Placement: Position the jack on a firm, level surface directly under the lifting point of the load as specified by the load manufacturer.

Operating Instructions

Lifting the Load:

  1. Ensure the jack is on a hard, level surface and the load is stable.
  2. Close the release valve firmly by turning it clockwise until tight. Do not overtighten.
  3. Insert the handle into the pump socket.
  4. Pump the handle up and down to raise the jack saddle until it makes contact with the lifting point of the load.
  5. Continue pumping the handle to lift the load to the desired height.
  6. Immediately after lifting, place appropriately rated jack stands under the load at designated support points.
  7. Slowly lower the load onto the jack stands by gently turning the release valve counter-clockwise.

Lowering the Load:

  1. Ensure the area around the load is clear.
  2. If the load is on jack stands, slightly raise the load off the jack stands using the jack.
  3. Remove the jack stands.
  4. Slowly and carefully turn the release valve counter-clockwise to lower the load. Control the lowering speed by adjusting how much you open the valve.
  5. Once the load is fully lowered, remove the jack.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your hydraulic jack.
