Cooking Modes

1. Pressure Cook
This mode cooks food significantly faster than traditional methods by using high-pressure steam. It is ideal for preparing meats, stews, beans, and grains efficiently.
- Add ingredients and the required amount of liquid to the inner pot.
- Securely close the lid, ensuring the sealing ring is correctly seated and the lid is locked into place.
- Select the "Pressure Cook" mode on the control panel.
- Adjust the desired cooking time using the +/- buttons.
- Press the Play/Pause button to initiate the cooking cycle. The cooker will begin to build pressure.
- Once the desired pressure is reached, the timer will begin counting down.
- Upon completion, the unit will automatically release steam (hands-free steam release) and transition to the "Keep Warm" mode.
2. Slow Cook
This mode is perfect for tenderizing meats and simmering dishes over an extended period, allowing flavors to meld and develop.
- Add ingredients to the inner pot.
- Place the lid on the cooker. For slow cooking, the lid does not need to be sealed under pressure.
- Select the "Slow Cook" mode.
- Adjust the cooking time and temperature setting (Low or High, if applicable) using the +/- buttons.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start.
- The unit will automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode when the cycle is complete.
3. Sear & Saute

- Add a small amount of cooking oil or fat to the inner pot.
- Select the "Sear & Saute" mode.
- Adjust the temperature if options are available.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start.
- Once the pot is hot, add ingredients and cook as desired.
- Press the Power button to turn off the unit when finished.
4. Keep Warm
This mode automatically activates after most cooking cycles or can be selected manually to keep food at an optimal serving temperature without overcooking.
- Select the "Keep Warm" mode.
- Adjust the desired time for keeping warm, if applicable.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start.
- The unit will maintain a warm temperature for up to 8 hours.
Hands-Free Steam Release
The Dream Cooker features an automatic steam release function for enhanced safety and convenience. After a pressure cooking cycle, the unit will safely and gradually release steam without requiring manual intervention. Maintenance and Cleaning

After Each Use
- Inner Pot: The 5.6 L. inner pot has a toxin-free nonstick ceramic coating. It is dishwasher safe for convenience, or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Lid: Wash the lid, including the sealing ring and steam release valve, with warm, soapy water. Ensure all food particles are removed. The silicone sealing ring can be carefully removed for thorough cleaning and then reinserted, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Condensation Collector: Empty and wash the condensation collector with warm, soapy water.
- Cooker Base: Wipe the exterior of the cooker base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
