Setup
1. Battery Installation
The JOC H798BT radio uses a rechargeable and replaceable 2000 mAh Lithium battery.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert the 18650 Lithium battery, ensuring the polarity matches the diagram inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the radio.
- Connect the small end of the provided USB cable to the Micro USB port on the side of the radio.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off (refer to device specific behavior).

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, slide the power switch (usually on the side or top) to the "ON" position.
- To power off, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.
Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the rotary volume wheel located on the side of the radio.
FM Radio Operation
- Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
- Press the "M" (Mode) button to select FM radio mode. The display will show the FM frequency.
- Automatic Scan: Press and hold the "Play/Pause" button (often labeled with a play symbol) to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Manual Tuning: Use the "Previous" (|<<) and "Next" (>>|) buttons to manually tune to frequencies or navigate through saved stations.
- Direct Frequency Input: Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly enter an FM frequency (e.g., 108.0).
Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the "M" (Mode) button to select Bluetooth mode. The radio will indicate it is ready for pairing (e.g., "Bluetooth Mode" or a flashing indicator).
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "JOC H798BT" from the list of devices to pair.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio.
USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (Micro SD) card into the corresponding port.
- The radio should automatically switch to USB/TF card playback mode. If not, press the "M" (Mode) button to select it.
- Use the "Play/Pause", "Previous" (|<<), and "Next" (>>|) buttons to control playback.
Headphone Use
Connect 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack for private listening. The speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
Flashlight Function
To activate the built-in flashlight, locate the flashlight switch (often on the side or top) and slide it to the "ON" position. Slide it back to "OFF" to turn off the flashlight.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the radio in a cool, dry place.
- Battery Care: If the radio will not be used for a long time, remove the battery to prevent leakage. Recharge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
