2. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent electric shock, injury, or damage to the product:

  • Strangulation Hazard: Keep adapter cords out of reach of children (at least 3 feet / 1 meter away). Never place the camera or cords within the crib or playpen.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Do not use near water (e.g., bathtub, sink).
  • Heat Sources: Keep the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.
  • Power Adapters: Use only the AC power adapters provided. Using other adapters may damage the device.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Parent Unit (Monitor)

  • 3.2-inch LCD Screen: Displays video feed from the camera.
  • VOX Button: Activates/deactivates VOX mode.
  • Menu Button: Accesses settings and options.
  • Talk Button: Activates two-way talk.
  • Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right/OK): For menu navigation and volume/brightness control.
  • Return Button: Exits current menu or function.
  • Antenna: For wireless signal reception.
  • Speaker: For audio output from the baby unit.
  • Microphone: For two-way talk.

4.2 Baby Unit (Camera)

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Parent Unit

  1. Connect one power adapter to the charging port on the parent unit.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  3. Charge the parent unit for at least 3 hours before initial use. The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status.

5.2 Powering the Baby Unit

  1. Connect the second power adapter to the power port on the baby unit.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The power LED on the baby unit will illuminate.

5.3 Placement

  • Place the baby unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby in their crib or sleeping area.
  • Ensure the camera is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from your baby to prevent cord entanglement.
  • Position the parent unit (monitor) in a convenient location where you can easily monitor your baby.
  • Avoid placing units near other electronic devices that may cause interference.

5.4 Pairing (If Necessary)

The baby unit and parent unit are typically pre-paired at the factory. If the monitor does not display an image after setup, you may need to re-pair them:

  1. Ensure both units are powered on.
  2. On the parent unit, navigate to the 'Pairing' option in the menu.
  3. Press the 'Pair' button on the back of the baby unit.
  4. The units should connect within a few seconds.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • Parent Unit: Press and hold the power button until the screen turns on/off.
  • Baby Unit: The baby unit powers on automatically when connected to the power adapter. Disconnect the adapter to power off.

6.2 Volume Control

Use the 'Up' and 'Down' navigation buttons on the parent unit to adjust the listening volume from the baby unit.

6.3 Brightness Control

Access the menu on the parent unit and navigate to the 'Brightness' setting to adjust the screen's illumination.

6.4 Two-Way Talk

This feature allows you to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker.

  1. Press and hold the 'Talk' button on the parent unit.
  2. Speak clearly into the microphone on the parent unit.
  3. Release the 'Talk' button to stop speaking and resume listening.

6.5 VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)

VOX mode conserves battery life by turning off the monitor screen when no sound is detected from the baby's room. The screen will automatically reactivate when sound is detected.

  1. Press the 'VOX' button on the parent unit to activate or deactivate this mode.
  2. You can adjust the VOX sensitivity level in the menu settings to determine how loud a sound needs to be to activate the screen.

6.6 Lullabies

The baby unit can play soothing lullabies to help your baby fall asleep.

  1. Access the menu on the parent unit and navigate to the 'Lullaby' option.
  2. Select a lullaby to play or stop the music.

6.7 Night Vision

The baby unit automatically activates infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear black-and-white image on the parent unit.

6.8 Temperature Monitoring

The baby unit features a built-in temperature sensor that displays the room temperature on the parent unit's screen.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of both units. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Lens Care: Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the lens directly.
  • Battery Care: To prolong the parent unit's battery life, avoid fully discharging it frequently. Charge it regularly. If storing for a long period, charge it to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the monitor and camera in a clean, dry environment, away from extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting
