3. Setup and Programming

The RC-G008 universal remote offers multiple methods for programming to your television. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

3.1. Automatic Setting Method

1. Simultaneously press and hold the Power and Mute buttons on the remote.
2. The indicator light on the remote will stay on continuously.
3. Release the Power and Mute buttons.
4. Press the Mute button again to enter automatic search mode.

1. Press and hold the Mute and Power buttons together.
2. The LED indicator light will turn on. Release both buttons.
3. Input your 3-digit TV code using the number buttons on the remote.
4. If the code is correct, the LED light will go out. If the code is incorrect, the light will remain on, indicating you should try another code.
