Setup

Placement

Place the portable refrigerator on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Important: Do not place the refrigerator in direct sunlight, as this may cause the refrigerator door to become deformed and affect performance.

Power Connection

The BougeRV portable refrigerator supports multiple power input options:

• 12V/24V DC Power: Connect the provided DC power cord to your vehicle's 12V/24V DC outlet (e.g., cigarette lighter socket) or a compatible portable power station.
• 110-240V AC Power: Use the provided AC adapter to connect the refrigerator to a standard household wall socket or a power station with AC output.

Initial Cooling

For optimal performance, it is recommended to pre-cool the refrigerator before loading it with items, especially if you plan to use it as a freezer. Connect the unit to AC power at home to bring it down to the desired temperature before your trip.

Power Modes (ECO & MAX)

Battery Protection

The refrigerator is equipped with a 3-level battery monitor to prevent excessive discharge of your vehicle's battery. You can select the cut-off voltage (High, Medium, Low) at which the fridge will automatically shut off to protect your battery. The factory default is set to High mode.
